Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a test used to make detailed images of internal structures of the body such as organs, soft tissues, bones, and blood vessels. The test uses strong magnets and radio waves to make an MRI image. MRI is a noninvasive test which does not use ionizing radiation.
