Dioval Remonde, MD

Dioval Remonde, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist serving patients at Hollings Cancer Center-Orangeburg. He is dedicated to providing individualized cancer care using advanced radiation therapy technologies. Dr. Remonde earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in biology. He went on to complete a transitional year internship at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, followed by a rigorous residency in radiation oncology at the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. Throughout his training, Dr. Remonde was actively involved in leadership roles, including serving as co-chief resident physician and a member of the Residency Interview Committee. He also contributed to several quality improvement initiatives and has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading oncology journals. Dr. Remonde is experienced with a wide array of cutting-edge radiotherapy technologies and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Medical Association (AMA), and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). Outside of medicine, Dr. Remonde is passionate about mentorship, community involvement, and advancing equity in healthcare.
