Dr. Prince Mohan Anand, M.D., FACP, is a distinguished physician specializing in transplant nephrology, currently serving as the Director of Transplant services and Program Medical Director at the MUSC Health Transplant Program in Mid-Carolinas. With an illustrious career spanning over a decades, Dr. Anand brings extensive expertise and leadership to his role in advancing transplant medicine. Dr. Anand obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Pleven, Bulgaria, where he demonstrated exceptional academic prowess and a passion for medical research. He further honed his skills through postdoctoral training, including Internal Medicine and Chief residency at Nephrology Fellowship at New York Hospital Queens, Cornell University. He finish his general Nephrology and Renal/Pancreas Transplant Fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in NY. Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Anand holds licensure in the State of South Carolina, where he has dedicated himself to providing exemplary patient care. Throughout his career, he has garnered recognition for his outstanding contributions, including multiple scientific papers and fellowship inductions into esteemed organizations such as the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Transplantation. . Dr. Anand is actively involved in professional organizations and societies, including the American Society of Transplant, the American Society of Nephrology, and the American College of Physicians, where he continues to contribute his expertise to advancing medical science and patient care.
